Since late 2016, or around the time when one of the very worst individuals imaginable was voted in as our president, I have had to conclude that stupidity is more a function of willful ignorance than of native intelligence. I just don't see any other way to explain the otherwise inexplicable acceptance of the likes of anyone as demonstrably horrible as Donald Trump.

The other possible explanation is that since he represents the very worst of all human traits, the overt hate of all who are even a little different (including ALL non-whites), that, since he's this way, it's perfectly acceptable to be a racist, homophobe, bigot, rude, semiliterate, self-centered, sexist, and completely disrespectful of any and everyone with a different point of view from his.

I can't help but wonder how many people look at this man with so many terrible traits and say to themselves, "Hey! He's just like me! Well, dang, he's got my vote!"

I'm so very, very afraid that America may now be going the same route as Germany of the early 1930s, and thus ending the American Experiment. I hope I'm wrong. I hope enough people can take their head out of their ass and vote Trump out once and for all -- thereby allowing America to be great again.
