I read your response to me and this jumped out: I suspect his exploitive tendencies are more animal instinct than strategy, which ties into his sociopathic leanings.

I couldn't agree more, and I think that's the major difference between you and Trump. Since he continually shows what a dolt he is, I have a really hard time considering anything he does or says as the product of intelligence.
