I could never buy the Big Bang Theory. We humans have what is to us a finite existence. Everything we know has a beginning and an end, so we project this “reality" onto the entire universe. To me, it’s always been a ludicrous stance, but I’m not an astrophysicist capable of making a solid argument for an infinite universe. All I can say is that nothing else makes sense. We MUST live in an infinite universe, whether our frail little minds can handle it or not. I mean, there’s a big bang and nothing before that? I see that as nonsense, and have always felt completely alone with that stance. So I couldn’t have been more excited to read your take on the subject. Thanks for your validation!
