Fascinating article, Nisi. I'm reading it because of my curiosity of the cult-like worship people appear to show for a man who is, to me, the very embodiment of the anti-christ, Donald Trump. I see him as being as horrible a human as is possible to be, and I mean that literally; I see the man as pure evil. Yet his followers love him. Worse, many of them see him as the Second Coming, unable to see him as the lowlife, totally dishonest grifter the rest of us can so easily see. So, OMG, what is with that?
