Dan, it's mostly reason #2 that sent me packing (the behavior of so-called Christians), but reason #1 (treatment of LGBTQ community) is why my daughter left the church. About 3 years ago, I wrote a piece for Medium that was mainly about Trump but got heavily into my disdain for the non-Christian behavior of most Christians, that agrees whole heartedly with Gandhi.
